The Jig Was Up,la la la la, We're Finally Busted

Yeah I know, I should know my Styx lyrics, and if I was more inspired I would actually look them up on a site somewhere. Oh man, speaking of looking something up on a site: I am desparate to find out how the movie Sideways ends. Here I was, holed up in my room with my own bottle of vino (It was a very shitty "bordeaux" purchased for a mere 4 dollars at Aldi's of all places!) happy as a little clam to be left alone so I could watch a movie on On Demand, and immediately after what I thought was a nifty piece of dialogue "You didn't want tell me the truth because you wanted to fuck me first!" Then he says sadly: "No, Maya..." She counters with "Yes!" And THEN THE MOVIE SHUTS OFF AND SAYS IT'S FINISHED PLAYING! I tried to get it back in the "Saved Programs" menu but there is no Sideways in the Saved Programs and I'll have to pay 3.99 again to start the film. I'm too damn cheap to do that, and I figure I'll just wait till it comes out on HBO or Starz. Wait... I bet my Mom rented this DVD, she does this every week, maybe she knows how it ends.

Anyway! What I meant to write about is the fact that my boyfriend once again found my blog, threw a fit as usual, and we now have an uneasy truce concerning this. So yes, he'll be reading this (HI SWEETHEART!) and I will continue to post and say whatever the hell I want to because it's my journal.

Book I Have Been Reading This Week: I didn't read any books but I did read Vanity Fair and Playboy cover to cover. The best article was in Vanity Fair by Michael Finkle about a man who killed his entire family, escaped to Mexico, and claimed to be a journalist who wrote for New York Magazine (or was it the New York Times?) named Michael Finkle. So the real Michael Finkle meets up with the fake Michael Finkle in jail, and they form a bond. The best article in Playboy was about Marilyn Monroe which gave details and new photos from that infamous photoshoot where she is nude on a red velvet sheet. She only got paid 50 dollars for that!

Movies I Have Seen This Week: Besides Sideways, which I am not going to count because I don't know how it ends, Some Kind Of Monster. I loved this movie, but then again I love Metallica and had been looking forward to seeing this for awhile. It's on VH1 this month, and I may just have to check the website to see when it's on again. You know, honestly, I wasn't that crazy about the album St. Anger when I first heard it. But watching this movie made the album make more sense to me. I thought that it sounded like James had too many therapy sessions. Well, it turns out they ALL DID!

Hot Issue of The Week: It's still Michael Jackson. Oh and some stupid bitch decided to leave her four year old child alone all weekend, and then when she came home he was found playing outside the building somewhere in Chicago, she freaked out that he was out there and she strangled him to death. Nice.

Well I've got to go get dinner started. It's fried chicken and blueberry muffins and American Idol starts soon. It's down to Carrie, Bo and Vonzell. I personally would love to see Bo win. It think he is the best showman and deserves to win!
