Dirtbag Of The Month

Oooh..... I found a good one! According to wqad.com (my favorite local news channel's website) a Dirtbag by the name of Rafael Borja of Carpentersville beat to death a 17 year old kid outside a niteclub in Elgin (and you don't get any more suburban Chicago than Elgin). And what on Earth did this poor kid do to deserve it? Why, he DARED to talk to Borja's girfriend on the dance floor. The girlfriend testified that the kid thought she was somebody else.

Borja got 25 years. THAT'S ALL? THAT'S IT? I mean, sure it wasn't technically pre-meditated but STILL! Maybe the intention wasn't to kill him (Oh, and Borja had a douchebag accomplice who got 23 years) but they did. He didn't even deserve to touched or even cussed out for that matter because the bitch wasn't even who he thought she was. People make mistakes. It happens.

I realize that we are talking about people here that have some cultural differences than perhaps I do, and maybe they were all gang members (who knows) and would have died early or got put in prison eventually for something else, but that excuses NOTHING.
